The opposition NDC’s so-called victory has been shortlived as I said earlier.
They were making a mincemeat of the EC when coronavirus knocked at our doors.
Deep in the dusty recesses of their minds and hearts, they were happy beyond description.
Somehow, the assumed that coronavirus would be the watershed that would mark an end to the dream of the EC in compiling a new voters’ register.
Jean Mensa has proven them wrong. The EC, according to them, is not reneging on its intended decision to compile a new register.
Plans, their statement reads, are far advanced to deliver on that mandate than to reconsider the decision.
If our NDC pals were thinking about going into the next elections with this same decrepit and worn out register, they better snap out of this wishful thinking.
A new register will be compiled for the 2020 elections.
