Don’t be complacent. vote massively for NPP – Mrs. Akufo-Addo tells Ashanti voters

First Lady of the Republic, H.E. Mrs. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo has called on NPP supporters in the Ashanti Region not to be complacent in assuming that the NPP will win in the Party’s stronghold even if they don’t come out in their numbers to vote, but rather not only come out in their numbers to vote but also encourage every citizen who has benefitted from policies implemented by the Nana Addo Administration, to also go out in their numbers to vote for the NPP.

She said the Akufo-Addo government apart from the Free SHS policy which has benefitted every Ghanaian, has also materialized the 1 District 1 Factory, 1 Village 1 Dam, Youth Employment initiative, NABCO, and several other promises made in 2016. Additionally, she said, the economic mitigation measures implemented by the government in the covid-19 era including free water and electricity has also benefitted every Ghanaian regardless of their political colour.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo said this when she toured the Ashanti Region as part of her campaign to garner votes for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the up-coming December 7th general elections.

Accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, Mayor of Kumasi Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, NPP parliamentary candidate for Ejisu and Chief Executive officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), John Kuma and other senior government and Party officials, the First Lady paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, visited the AsanteHemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III, and the Ejisuhemaa Nana Yaa Asantewaa II. She later attended a durbar of Queen mothers and Market queens in the Ashanti region at Ejisu.
At the Manhyia Palace, Mrs. Akufo-Addo thanked the Otumfuor and the AsanteHemaa for their continuous prayers and support for H.E. the President and the NPP government since assuming office in 2017 and said President Akufo-Addo during the period has worked hard to fulfill all his promises to the people of Ghana.

She said the Free SHS policy which many were skeptical about has materialized only because of the political commitment and competence of the Akufo-Addo administration and asked for Otumfuor and Asantehemaa’s blessings for the NPP administration to be retained to continue their good work.

AsanteHemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III thanked the First lady for her visit to the royal palace and prayed with her for a peaceful election, the outcome of which should advance the wellbeing of the country.
Later at the durbar of Ashanti Region Queen mothers and Market Queens, Mrs. Akufo-Addo said the NPP is the only Political Party which always implements policies which go to alleviate the economic hardships of women. She said the NHIS and free maternal care under President Kufuor and the Free SHS and restoration of Nursing and Teacher Trainee allowances under the Akufo-Addo administration have brought great relief to many families.

She urged the gathering not to assume the NPP will win the elections because others will go out and vote but rather go out to every house and every corner to rally votes for the NPP on December 7th, warning that the many laudable policies which the good people of Ghana are benefitting from risk collapse in the unlikely event that another party wins the elections.

The First lady also used the occasion to introduce the NPP parliamentary candidate for Ejisu Mr. John Kuma to the gathering and asked them to vote massively for him stating that it is when the NPP wins more seats in parliament that the good work of the next Akufo-Addo administration can be expedited for the benefit of all.

We’ll eradicate ‘Gone Too Soon’ in Ghana – Dr Nsiah Asare

Former Director General of the Ghana Health Service and Advisor to the President on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare said the NPP through and special Weighing Program for adults will reduce the ‘Gone too soon’ death rate from next year.

Speaking at the Nurses and Midwives Conference at Ho, last Sunday as the Guest of honor, the Advisor to the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, on Health, promised other policies for the health practitioners, should they retain the NPP in power.

“Beyond 2020, we will have Weighing for Adults on their day of birth to reduce the gone too soon. Young Adults die out of negligence of chronic diseases and this weighing which will be done together with their children will help eradicate the ‘gone too soon’. They will also queue, check their weight and also know how to prevent the stroke, prostate cancer and others”.

“We will also re-introduce the car Waiver policy for Nurses which was initiated by President Kuffour. We will, as well give nurses a befitting accommodation while paying those in the rural areas more than those in the urban areas. Another plan, is to have specialized courses for nurses and a degree course for all nurses.” He added.

Apart from the restoration of the Nurses allowance, Dr Nsiah Asare said, the 2018 batch of nurses who are being processed for employment will all have their salaries paid by end of May next year.

“You know, those who completed in 2018 are being posted and it is left with the 2019 batch, who are currently doing national service. We are processing all necessary details to the Finance sector and by the end of May after all placements are done early next year, salaries will be paid. You also know we restored the allowances for your younger ones, so nothing is too hard for the Akuffo Addo government to do. So, this is why we will need you all to vote for 4 more years to do more because we’ve done better than the NDC government who canceled your allowance.”

The Conference, held at the Ho Technical University Auditorium saw over 1500 Nurses and Midwives from the 21 districts of the Volta Region.

The over 3 hours program, saw various party leaders of the Regional NPP, including the Regional Minister, Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, talking about achievements of the NPP in the Health sector while on the ‘4 More 4 Agenda 111’, promising Exciting Opportunities for Nurses and Midwives.

NPP parliamentarians are your best bet for development – First Lady to Ada and Sege residents

First lady of the Republic, Mrs. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo has called on residents of the Ada and Sege constituencies in the Greater Accra Region to vote massively for the NPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections, to witness unprecedented development.
She said voting religiously for a particular political party without witnessing a relative development is indicative of a Party which is complacent with the people’s welfare.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo made the remarks when she toured the Ada and Sege Constituencies, as part of her tour of the Greater Accra Region to canvass for votes for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the up-coming Presidential and Parliamentary elections, on December 7th.
At Ada, the First Lady attended a durbar of chiefs and party faithfuls held in her honour at Torgbloku where she urged the residents to vote for a political party with a track record of implementing policies which address their needs.

She said the NPP has the enviable track record of competently implementing social intervention policies which address the core concerns of the people, explaining that good health and education are core ingredients for human development and the NPP has the record of implementing the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) under President Kufuor and the Free SHS under President Akufo-Addo “This is what should inform you in deciding on who to vote for on December 7th, she said.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo introduced the NPP parliamentary candidate for Ada Madam Sarah Pobee who is also DCE for Ada East to the Chiefs and people, and appealed for their support in votes so she represents them in the next parliament.

The First Lady later commissioned the fully furnished, equipped and staffed Torgbloku CHPS Compound and donated items including beds, isolation gowns, latex surgical gloves, blankets, wheel chairs and some detergents to the Ada East District Hospital at Faithkpope.

At Sege, Mrs. Akufo-Addo met with fishmongers and womenfolk at the Goi School Park to interact with them and ascertain how government can facilitate the growth of their businesses. She also inspected on-going works on Phase 2 of the Sege market project and urged them to vote for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP parliamentary candidate for Sege, Madam Eunice Lasi to ensure completion of all on-going projects as well as execution of new ones.

She said the government of President Akufo-Addo is on the path of changing the country and with an NPP representative in parliament, the people of Sege will benefit immensely from this transformation.

“We have completed constructing an ambulance bay, the Astech school block, phase 1 of the Sege Market and already working on phase 2 which will come with a nursery for your children”, Mrs. Akufo-Addo said to a thunderous applause by the fishmongers and traders.

The First lady said beyond voting for a woman who will be more sensitive to their social and economic woes and so will advocate to pass laws in that direction, voting for an NPP parliamentarian will also mean voting for someone who shares the development aspirations of President Akufo-Addo and is willing and able to join him work to make that vision a reality.

She emphasized that though the Akufo-Addo led NPP government will not be discriminatory in extending development projects to all constituencies in the country, it is trite knowledge that voting for a parliamentary candidate who is a member of the governing Party, especially when that Party is the NPP, always inures to the benefit of the people.

The NPP Parliamentary candidate for Sege, Madam Eunice Lasi said the Free SHS policy has brought great relief to the people of Sege and has also caused a significant increase in enrolment of girls in school as the challenge of selecting one among many in a family to go to school, which often favoured the males, has ended.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo promised to address some needs raised by the traders and townsfolk including road construction, expeditious completion of phase 2 of the Sege market and its auxiliary facilities, as well as the provision of soft loans to expand their businesses.

The First Lady was accompanied on her tour by the CEO of Coastal Development Authority, Mr. Jerry Shaibu Ahmed, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Divine Otoo Agorhom and other government and party officials.

“Change your parliamentarian for Development” – First Lady tells residents of Ningo Prampram

First Lady of the Republic, H.E. Mrs. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo has urged residents of Ningo Prampram to vote for a parliamentarian from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to catalyse development projects in the constituency, stating that even though they have been voting for a parliamentarian from the NDC for the past twenty-eight (28) years, they cannot boast of equivalent development in their area.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo said this when she toured and interacted with residents of Ningo Prampram in the Greater Accra Region to canvass votes for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the up-coming December 7th general elections.

As part of het tour, the First Lady attended a rally at Dawhenya and Ahwiam all in the Ningo Prampram constituency where she met party faithfuls and introduced the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Ningo Prampram Alexander Martey to the People.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo told the gathering that though the NPP has never won the Ningo parliamentary seat since the inception of the fourth republic, significant projects executed in the constituency, happened under NPP governments.

She said under the government of President Kufuor, the constituency was provided with a police station and police quarters with water supply extended from Sege to Prampram. Under the Akufo-Addo led NPP administration, Mrs. Akufo-Addo said Ningo Prampram has benefitted from the 1 District 1 Factory (1D1F) initiative which has seen three factories in the constituency, the construction of the largest greenhouse in west Africa a new market, extended electricity and construction of storm drains.

“All these”, she said “has come to Ningo Prampram only when the NPP is in government and even though we have no NPP MP to bring your voice closer to government” and asked the people to imagine the rate of development if they had an NPP MP under an NPP government to advance their concerns.

Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North Hon. Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie who accompanied the First Lady on her tour told the residents to consider the many social intervention policies that have been implemented under NPP governments such as the NHIS under President Kufuor, and Free SHS, 1D1F and the recent reduction and cancellation of electricity and water tariffs respectively under President Akufo-Addo which they have benefitted from, and vote accordingly. The First lady also paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Dawa and his elders at his palace and thanked them for all their prayers and support for the Akufo-Addo government and pleaded with them to lend their support as the NPP seeks another term in office to do more.

The Chief of Dawa,Nene Tettehwayo Duamor XI welcomed Mrs. Akufo-Addo to the palace and told her he is very happy with the administration of President Akufo-Addo.

He said even though the people of Ningo Prampram including Dawa have never elected an NPP parliamentarian before, there is no doubt that they have benefitted immensely from policies implemented by the government.

He said the Free SHS is a life saver as it had come to address a critical challenge in the constituency and is sure to break the vicious cycle of poverty.

Nene Tettehwayo Duamor Xl assured the First Lady of his people’s unflinching support for the Akufo-Addo led NPP government and their determination to ensure that the NPP parliamentary candidate, Alexander Martey represents them in the next parliament.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo rounded up her tour with a durbar held in her honour at lower Prampram which was graced by the Acting President of Ningo Traditional council and Chief of Ningo Nene Wakah Atiapa III and other traditional leaders.

In his speech to welcome Mrs. Akufo-Addo, Nene Wakah Atiapa III said the time has come for the people of Ningo-Prampram to change their parliamentarian from NDC to NPP.

He said the continuous selection of NDC members to parliament has slowed down development in the constituency due to the lack of urgency on the part of the MP, to lobby development projects to the constituency and said the people of Ningo Prampram will vote massively for the NPP’s Alex Martey to send a clear signal to politicians that they cannot be taken for granted.

The First Lady promised to escalate their request for fishing landing sites at Ahwiam and for the constituency to be divided into two, because of its vastness, to the relevant authorities.

She also reminded them of the Covid-19 threat and advised them to continue adhering to the social distance protocols and wear their masks.

The First Lady was accompanied on her tour by NPP Parliamentary candidate for Ningo Prampram Alexander Doku, DCE for Ningo Prampram Jonathan Teye Doku, NPP Constituency Chairman for Ningo Prampram Michael Tetteh Eku and other government and Party officials.

In her interaction with all the gatherings, Mrs. Akufo-Addo advised them to continue observing the Covid-19 safety protocols especially the wearing of masks and washing of hands, warning that with some countries especially in Europe experiencing an up-surge in infection rates and going back into lock-down, it is only proper that we continue to protect ourselves in order prevent such inconveniences and the hardships that come along with them.

NDC Chairman defects to NPP, joins First Lady’s’S Campaign Team to vote No. 1

Former NDC Chairman of the Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region Hon. The First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Naa Okiakor Akufo-Addo, has asked the public to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo based on its development record. Mrs Akufo-Addo made the call when she paid an official visit to the Ablekuma South Constituency as part of her campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.

According to her, the good record that has been set by the NPP, should be the reason the NPP government is retained for another four years.

She noted that the flagship Free SHS, One District, One Factory, Planting for Food and Jobs and NABCO policies of the ruling government is impacting positively on the lives of Ghanaians.

“Right now, Free SHS has helped Ghanaians and a lot of people are benefiting, the government has also established more than factories all over Ghana which are creating jobs for citizens,” she added. “NABCO has also come to address the issue of youth unemployment.”

Addressing the gathering, she said President Akufo-Addo has started a process of moving the country to another level of development which must be supported by all.

“You have all seen how through the leadership of President Akufo-Addo, the country is changing and we need to support him and the NPP government so the change can be permanent,” she urged.

With less than two months to the general elections, Mrs Akufo-Addo urged all to go out peacefully and vote on December 7 for the NPP and the Ablekuma South NPP parliamentary candidate, Bernard Brown.

She said, “We are a peaceful country and we have shown this by holding free, fair and peaceful elections over the years.”

The First Lady also pledged to liaise with the appropriate authorities to address the concerns raised by fishermen and market women in the constituency.

“As soon as I get home, I will talk to the President about the outboard motor and personally see to it that the Tuesday Market is completed on time for you to continue trading,” she assured.

Ablekuma South NPP parliamentary candidate, Bernard Brown, in a brief remark said the NPP is the best option for the continued development of Ghana and called on the constituents to retain the NPP for another four years, to secure the future of the country.

First Lady Courts Tema Voters

First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo, has urged the people of Tema to rally behind and vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come December 7.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo made the appeal when she visited the Tema Central and West constituencies as part of her campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.

Addressing a mini-rally at Tema Community 7, after a brief stop at the Tema Community 9 market to interact with traders, Mrs. Akufo-Addo recounted some social intervention initiatives that the NPP government has undertaken in its first term which includes the Free Senior High School, (SHS) NABCO, One District, One Factory and the Planting for Food and Jobs programmes.

“When Nana Addo was seeking power in 2016, they said he could not implement free SHS, today our children are enjoying free SHS because he wants to equip them with knowledge to be productive Ghanaians in future. NABCO and One District, One Factory has also brought jobs for the youth who were jobless,” she noted.

The First Lady said the NPP has proven to be the government that can develop Ghana adding that changing the NPP government will be retrogression for the country.

“We have done a lot and more are yet to come in the next four years. So, I’m pleading with you to look ahead. We are moving forward, we won’t retrogress”, she said.

She cautioned against voter apathy and urged the electorate to go all out and vote adding that every vote counts in the up-coming elections.
“Everyone should go and vote, don’t sit at home; all votes count so let us vote and win with a huge margin,” she added.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo also canvassed for votes for the NPP Parliamentary candidates for Tema Central, Yves Nii Noi Hanson Nortey, Tema East, Titus Glover, and Tema West, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah.
She said the NPP will not be able to run the country effectively with a minority in Parliament thus the need to also vote massively for the parliamentary candidates.

During her tour, she cut the sod for the Tema Central Aged Recreational and Health Facility Project being funded by the outgoing Tema Central MP, Kofi Brako.

The First Lady also participated in a breast cancer screening exercise organized by the Tema West MP Carlos Ahenkorah and the Breasted One organization and encouraged women to regularly screen for breast cancer.

The First Lady then met with traders at the Texpo market in the Tema West Constituency where she took time to listen to their request for shelter for the market women and a kindergarten for their children.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo assured them that she will engage the Municipal Chief Executive for a solution to their requests. She again called for a huge turnout on Election Day for the NPP.
She also graced the graduation of 350 women trained in various skills, by the Member of Parliament for Tema West, Carlos Ahenkorah in partnership with the National Board for Small Scale Industry (NBSSI).
Mrs. Akufo-Addo congratulated the graduating class, indicating that the training programme is vested in activities that impact positively on the growth of society.

She therefore urged them to use the skills they have acquired as the starting point to their economic empowerment.
Tema West MP, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, who accompanied the First Lady urged the graduates to make good use of the knowledge and skills they have acquired to improve their economic condition.
“Today you have been armed with skills to make a decent living, so use this as a starting point and move to bigger things,” he said.

Editorial: The Abirem Writer Writes; “My Advice to The NPP Fraternity”

My able elephant fraternity, NPP, is doing marvelously well in terms of development and no political party as at now can be compared to especially NDC. If you compare NDC to NPP, is like comparing “NURSERY STUDENT TO A MASTERS DEGREE HOLDER/GRADUATE”. This means, there is a wide gap between these two political parties.

But NDC knows how to “WIN” elections but do not know how to “MANAGE THE ECONOMY”.

NPP knows how to “MANAGE THE ECONOMY VERY WELL” but do not know how to “SUSTAIN A POLITICAL WIN”.

If the NPP learn how to sustain a political win, it will take NDC over 50 years before they can rescue power from the NPP. If NPP do their things very well they will be able to make GHANA, “A ONE PARTY STATE”.

The NPP should TRY everything possible to ensure that in every POLLING STATION across the country, they will empower at least “THREE” people so that they can “ADOPT” that Polling Station when the party is in crisis to prevent future financial burden on some few people when the party is in opposition.

The behaviour of some appointees of government is causing a lot of apathy in the party. Something “MUST” be done about it with immediate effect.

What pains me most is that, H.E NANA ADDO DANKWAH AKUFO-ADDO KWAKU WILLIAMS had performed better in the history of the country’s political regime but the behaviour of some appointees is bringing him done.

One policy that had already secured victory for NPP is the ALMIGHTY “FREE SHS POLICY.” He deserves not less than 65% massive votes in the 2020 general elections of which I am very sure that “INSHA ALLAHU” he will get it because JOHN MAHAMA, himself knows that he will not and never win election 2020 but where they should be looking at is the MP seats.

Are we sure that we can maintain the difference of 63 seats(169-106=63seats)?.

We should be thinking of if nothing at all, we should maintain the 63 seats but the question we should ask ourselves is that, “ARE OUR BEHAVIOUR AND HUMAN RELATIONS ATTRACT PEOPLE TO FOLLOW US AND VOTE MASSIVELY FOR OUR PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATES”?

We should crosscheck our behaviour and attitude towards others whether it is “PULLING CROWD OR NOT”.

We should not forget that “POLITICS IS ABOUT NUMBERS”. Let your behaviour attract people to the party but not to drive away people from the party. Remember that the party is for all of us but “NOT THE BONIFIED PROPERTY OF ANYONE”.

I am pleading with all those that because of some people’s parochial interest and behaviour had led to apathy to let things go for the seek of the party and H.E NANA ADDO DANKWAH AKUFO-ADDO KWAKU WILLIAMS, so that we can maintain power because Ex-President John Agyekum Kofi Kuffour, once said that, “IT IS BETTER TO BE A MESSENGER IN A RULING PARTY THAN TO BE A GENERAL SECRETARY IN AN OPPOSITION PARTY”.

I AM ADVISING THAT ALL THOSE IN THE HELM OF AFFAIRS SHOULD TRY EVERYTHING POSSIBLE WITHIN THEIR MEANS TO SOLVE ALL ISSUES AMICABLY SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN POWER FOR A VERY LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

TOGETHER WE STAND, DIVIDED WE SHALL FALL

MAINTAIN GOOD HUMAN RELATIONS SO THAT IN YOUR OLD AGE YOU SHALL REAP WHAT YOU SOW

THE FUTURE IS UNCERTAIN

NO ONE KNOWS TOMORROW EXCEPT GOD ALMIGHTY

PAE MU KA MA AHOMEKA

ROUND 2 IS FULLY ASSURED

ONE GOOD TERM DESERVES ANOTHER

LONG LIVE MR. PRESIDENT!

LONG LIVE GHANA!!!

The First Lady also visited the Kaneshie Polyclinic where her Foundation – The Rebecca Foundation – presented assorted medical equipment and consumables to the health facility. She also toured the facility and interacted with some patients who were receiving medical care. Ambulances have been provided for all constituencies to enhance emergency healthcare delivery. We have seen increased recruitment of health personnel and the restoration of nurse’s allowance. We have also seen the support and incentives given to health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic,” she touted.

Taking a cue from the government’s investment in the health sector, she said the Rebecca Foundation has focused its activities on the health sector by promoting the health of women and children since 2017.
“We have build world class facilities, renovated and refurbished facilities, carried out medical outreaches and provided ambulances to some health facilities and supplied hospital equipment and consumables to facilities all over Ghana,” she added. She expressed satisfaction at the partnership the Foundation has had with the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service to improve the health of Ghanaians especially women and children. “It is deeply satisfying for me to look back on the many ways we have worked together,” she said.
The First Lady also commended the staff of the health facility for the fantastic work they are dong amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Election 2020: Dr Bawumia electrifies Bole

Home towns of Presidential candidates are normally ‘no go zones’ for their main opponents but Vice President Bawumia on Monday defied that widely-held view in Bole, the hometown of NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.

On the 4th day of his tour of the northern regions of the country, Dr. Bawumia stormed Bole to round off his visits to the newly created Savannah Region.

What was meant to be a private visit to the Bole Naa turned out to be a stunning experience as the home of Mahama offered Dr. Bawumia an unimaginable tumultuous welcome.

Scores of youth met the Vice President at the entrace of Bole in the outskirts and led him into the town and to his destination.

As his entourage slowly headed to the Bole Naa’s Palace, scores of people, both young and old poured out in their numbers and followed him to the Palace.

By the time Dr. Bawumia was through with his meeting with the Bole Naa, people had massed up in front of the Palace chanting songs in support of President Akuffo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

As Bawumia stepped out of the Palace, the crowd demanded he says something and he obliged.

“Wow! This is Bole! This is Bole! This is Bole!”, a stunned Dr. Bawumia said.

He continued: “From what i seee tonight, in shaa Allah David Sey Dema will be the next member of Parliament for Bole Constituency.”

“We are so happy for this welcome. This is a massive welcome,” he added.

Dr. Bawumia said the 2020 elections is about records and sustaining the massive and inclusive development, as well as the social interventions President Akufo-Addo has initiated in his first.

He said unlike former President Mahama, who disappointed the north despite pumping $100 million dollars into SADA, President Akufo-Addo has kept faith with the north with several development initiatives.

Dr. Bawumia said, even Bole Constituency, the home of former President Maham has not been left out, as it has benefited from 10 dams from the One Village One Dam, among other national interventions.

As Dr. Bawumia listed President Akufo-Addo’s numerous achievements one after the other, the ecstatic crowd responded wildly to it.

He urged them to make history by voting massively for President Akufo-Addo and electing the NPP Parliamentary candidate to Parliament.

Essikado-Ketan NDC advises NPP PC to call constituency executives to order

The Communication Secretariat of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency of the Western Region has advised the Incumbent Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party ‘NPP’, Hon. Joe Ghartey to call his constituency executives to order over vile propoganda with full of lies and insults aimed at attacking and tarnishing the high earned reputation of NDC parliamentary candidate, Prof. Grace Dr. Ayensu-Danquah.

According to the Essikado-Ketan NDC Communication Officer, Taylor Frederick, Hon. Joe Ghartey who has been the Member of Parliament for the constituency for 16 years and have nothing relevant to showcase as a developmental projects being qualitative or quantitative.

Moreover the mediocre and shambolic Performance by the Essikado-Ketan NPP parliamentary candidate for the past sixteen years has created strong dislike and aversion among the larger constituents of Essikado-Ketan constituency.

Mr. Taylor Frederick continued that the NPP executives and their hired commentators have resorted to unnecessary politicking by bad-mouth and falsifying things about Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah when they have the opportunity to speak on the airwaves at any radio stations in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

This was revealed when Vision1 FM Western Regional Correspondent Benjamin Bray cited a press statement signed by Taylor Frederick as the communication officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency.

In the press statement, the communication secretariat of Essikado-Ketan “NDC” debunked recently allegations when their first female parliamentary candidate was tagged with donating damage medical equipments to Kansaworado Chps Compound Constituency

Meanwhile the Medical practioner is said to be a professor of medicine at the University of Utah in the United State of America and at the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana.

Again she is the Chief Executive Officer of Healing Hands Organization with track records, both professional and academia field.

“the Executives of the New Patriotic Party ‘NPP’ have notice the treat that the medical officer who double as the first female Parliamentary Candidate in the constituency poses to their failed Member of Parliament for the Constituency hence the unnecessary and unwarranted attacks on National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate”, NDC Communication Secretariat emphasize in the press statement.

Information gathered indicate that there isn’t any CHPs compound at Kansaworado at currently. Meanwhile the Kansaworado Queenmother and her entourage deeply thought of the health status of the commuters and therefore made provision of some apartment within the palace to be established as CHPs Compound where the Essikado-Ketan NDC parliamentary Candidate, Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah came in with medical equipments to help the community to set up the mini health facility.

“We would like to state ccategorically that, the statement is purportedly lies, the items are in good conditions and the Queenmother who received the equipments I behalf of the community has come out of debunked the falsehood statement”, Taylor Frederick added.

The Essikado-Ketan National Democratic Congress communication Secretariat has therefore debunked towards Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah.
Meanwhile they accepted the fact that the constituency needs development not attacks and intimidation whereas they wish that the vile outmoded means of communication will be abandoned and push for a debate between their parliamentary candidate, Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah and the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Joe Ghartey to enable voters the opportunity to make an informed choice.

The western regional correspondent for Vision1 FM, Benjamin Bray’s effort in reaching the New Patriotic Party ‘NPP’ at the Essikado-Ketan Constituency to respond to these allegations levelled against them by the opposition National Democratic Congress has proved futile.

The Chinese Embassy to Ghana Donates Medical Supplies to the New Patriotic Party of Ghana

On July 27, 2020, Mr. ZHU Jing, Charge d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy to Ghana handed over medical supplies to the New Patriotic Party of Ghana. The donation is provided by the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Hon. Frederick Blay, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party received the donation on behalf of the Party.

Mr. ZHU said that, in February this year, when the Chinese people were at the height of the battle against the COVID-19, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and Honorable Blay wrote a letter separately to H.E. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China to express solidarity and support for the Chinese people to fight against the pandemic. This was a strong testament to the brotherly friendship between two parties and would be recorded in the history of our two countries.

As the Ghanaian people are suffering this trying time, the Communist Party of China empathizes and stands firmly with the Ghanaian people in contending with this daunting challenge.

The International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China therefore made special arrangement to donate anti-epidemic supplies to the New Patriotic Party.

The Chinese side will continue sharing experience in disease prevention and treatment with the Ghanaian side to win the battle against major communicable disease and build a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.

Bekwai Constituency in Turmoil as Group calls on Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang to contest Joe Wise as an independent candidate

Last Friday, 26th June, 2020, Judith Okyere and Maxwell addressed a press conference at Sanfo Aduam and Ricky Opoku and David also addressed Koniyaw press conference all in Bekwai Constituency, to officially petition Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang to contest as an independent candidate in the upcoming 2020 December polls.

Lawyer Amofa was denied the opportunity to contest the incumbent MP in the constituency who is the first deputy speaker of parliamentary, Hon Joe Osei Wusu (Joe Wise) in the just ended NPP primaries. Hence the petition and cries from some party folks, and sympathizers from various communities for Kwasi Amofa to contest as an independent candidate since Hon Joe Wise also became an MP through the same means.

Below is the content of the petition:

“PRESS CONFERENCE TO PETITION LAWYER KWASI AMOFA-AGYEMANG TO CONTEST AS AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE”

Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the press. We welcome you all to this emergency press conference called to officially petition Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang to contest as an independent candidate in the upcoming general election.

Since the party opened nominations for this year’s Parliamentary primaries, the incumbent MP, Hon Joseph Osei Wusu and his collaborators have worked together to stifle competition and block the other aspirant, Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang from participating in the race, and to ensure that Hon Joe Osei Wusu becomes the only candidate in the primaries at Bekwai this year.

Several unfair schemes have been adopted by Hon Joe Osei Wusu, and the Constituency Chairman, Mr Patrick Adu Gyamfi to deny Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang the chance to participate in the Parliamentary primaries. First, the Party Chairman ran away with the nomination forms, and Lawyer was denied access to the nomination forms until only two (2) days to the close of nominations when he was given the forms, but even that happened after we bused ourselves and travelled to the Party Head office in Accra to demonstrate.

Upon completion of his nomination forms, the incumbent MP and the Party Chairman locked the Party office and Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang could not submit his forms at the Party office.

Then came the time for vetting. These same people worked together to ensure only Hon Osei Wusu was recommended.

Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang filed an appeal against the decision of the Regional Vetting

Committee, though we were reliably informed that Lawyer Amofa-Agyemang has been cleared to contest the primaries, but the Party hierarchy played hide and seek and refused to make the Appeal Committee’s report public.

What made this even more worrying was the seeming complicity of the Party Hierarchy to abort the democratic processes and engineered to ensure only Hon Osei Wusu got the chance to stand for the primaries.

The people of Bekwai Constituency are aggrieved and wish to make it clear to the Party that we will not accept the imposition of Hon Osei Wusu on us in the 2020 elections. The rank and file in the Constituency are fed up with Hon Osei Wusu and want a new Candidate for these number of

Reasons:

  1. High rate of youth unemployment in the constituency.
  2. Lack of job creation and opportunities in the constituency.
  3. Lack of youth development plan in the constituency.
  4. Lack of electricity in eight (8) communities in our constituency.
  5. Failure in creating equal opportunities for all constituents.
  6. It’s an open secret that host of people who are in the good books of the MP are undertaking galamsey (illegal mining) in the constituency. These people have destroyed all the water bodies in the constituency with impunity.
  1. Disunity in the constituency.
  2. The need for a tertiary institution.
  3. Failure to fulfill earlier promises to the constituents (Provision of fridges and television for teachers in the constituency, provision of cylinders to Anwiankwanta buffloaf sellers etc.)
  4. About 14 communities have also threatened to abstain from voting in the parliamentary and presidential elections after Hon Joseph Osei Owusu was presented as the sole parliamentary candidate.

We are by the above reasons appealing to Lawyer Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang to contest as an independent candidate for our dear constituency. About 90% of we the youth in the Bekwai constituency declares our unflinching support.

We wish our appeal would be considered.

Thank you

CANDIDATES THAT HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY THE PARTY’S NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (NEC) TO CONTEST IN THE PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES

Refer to Attachment

PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES

Following the General Secretary’s report to National Council at its meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, to the effect that at the close of the Party’s Presidential Nomination, only one Candidate, in the person of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, filed to contest in the 2020 Presidential Candidate, the National Council resolved to acclaim the sole Candidate. Consequent to this, the Party will soon announce a date for the acclamation of the Presidential Candidate.

DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

The Party has observed, rather worryingly, the conduct of some members claiming to be invoking curses on the Party Leadership and in particular, on members of NEC on allegations that their preferred Candidates have been disqualified by NEC from contesting in the Primaries. We are completely appalled by such gross misconduct.

Accordingly, the Party is instructing the respective Constituency Executives in the Constituencies where this unfortunate incident happened, to immediately suspend all those involved in this awkward behavior while instituting appropriate disciplinary actions against them in line with Article 3 and 4 of the Party Constitution.

CONCLUSION

Ladies and gentlemen of the press, the Party wishes to stress that any aspiring parliamentary candidate who flouts any of the above guidelines and modalities or conducts him/herself in a manner that brings the Party’s name into disrepute shall be deemed to have breached Article 4(7) of the NPP constitution and will, accordingly, be sanctioned including being disqualified from contesting in the Primaries.

Finally, while wishing all prospective aspiring parliamentary candidates the best of luck in the Parliamentary Primaries, the party hopes and anticipates that these prospective aspiring candidates, together with their supporters, would adhere strictly to these rules of engagements in their own interest and in the supreme interest of the party.

Ex-President Atta -Mills autopsy finally out

Ex-president John Evans Atta Mills died as a sitting president. He died at the 37 Military Hospital. Even though he has a chronic health condition which is believed to be the cause of his death. A lot of people still doubt he died a natural death and believes someone was involved in his demise.

It has been years since he died and was buried but yet still people also dig into matters surrounding his death to the extent that the death of this noble peace – maker has now turned into politics.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) believes Former Vice President and President John Dramani Mahama was part of the conspiracy to take the life of Ex President Atta Mills so he can take over from him.

For them to wait for election year to talk about such things makes it look like they are using it for their own advantage to defame the flag bearer of the opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The brother of the Late President Atta Mills speaking on Accra FM today told listeners that rumor going about that the autopsy of the Late President was never out is a total lie.

And that he was there when the autopsy was taking place by the pathologist. He said they even cautioned him that the sight is unpleasant so if he can’t stand it, he can excuse them.

According to him, the autopsy took about three to four hours and he was present as at when they did it. He said the family of the demised later recieved the report after three days.

He added that as a family they are not happy about how the public keeps bruising their wound stopping it from healing faster.

He said the public should stop all those unpleasant comment about his brother’s death and that it is not making the family happy. Atta Mills comes from a family before he become a president and so we should give respect to the bereaved family and the dead.

Editorial: NPP Ablekuma North Decides 2020: The Case of the woman who has the sword and yet is afraid

Just as H.E Nana Addo is going into 2020 elections with the highest confidence and boldness all because his good works are speaking for him all over the country, one will expect the Ablekuma north mp (Akua Afriyie) to mount such confidence if she has indeed worked for general good of her constituents and DEAR DELEGATES of our party as we are being told.

But unfortunately, this is not the case on the part of Akua Afriyie and her campaign team.
The woman with the power (sword) is afraid because she didn’t perform, she was disrespectful to delegates, arrogance and thought four years won’t come again.
Now, out of fear of losing the primaries, due to how she treated the delegates in Ablekuma north constituency, her campaign team has now resorted to propaganda, attacks and insults all over the various platforms just to run her main contender Sheila Bartels down.

An mp who insulted and cursed her own delegates, and treated them like some irresponsible people who can’t feed themselves, thinking she was going to go unopposed in future, now she has no other option than to fear.

It is therefore not surprising that every delegate in Ablekuma north is calling for change. #changeToMaintain

It is obvious that, her suddenly change of attitude is just to deceive the very people (delegates) she and her allies insulted and cursed in some few years ago. But fortunately, the majority of Ablekuma north delegates have decided on Sheila Bartels and no amount of insults or propaganda can change their decision to vote for Sheila Bartels.

Sheila Bartels is more approachable.
Sheila Bartels does not discriminate
Sheila Bartels is very honest.
Sheila Bartels thinks about the delegates welfare.
Sheila Bartels has message that can help us.

NPP Primaries: Fanteakwa South NPP Youth Organizer endorses Eric Amoako Twum

The Fanteakwa South Constituency Youth organizer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Samuel Yaw Martey, popularly known as Ronnybitches in a closed door meeting with one of the aspiring candidates of the constituency, Mr Eric Amoako Twum, secretly recorded his conversation with them in an attempt to deliberately forge untrue stories about him (Eric Amoako Twum) to make him unpopular to the constituency delegate.

Eric in his meeting with the Youth Organizer and some few others in the audio highlighted some motivation to them and why the need to vote for change, which the change should be him.

Eric Amoako Twum has been a pain in the neck as far as the upcoming Parliamentary Primaries are concerned, for the incumbent Member of Parliament, and the Youth Organizer, Samuel Yaw Martey is believed to be in the camp of the sitting MP, so he deliberately recorded the minutes of their meeting to be used as a bait against Eric Amoako Twum but the audio has rather turned to be an endorsement, doing more good than bad, as intended.

Eric Amoako Twum is on the number three spot on the Ballot paper

NPP Parliamentary race under tension at Anyaa-Sowutuom as Executives fire vetting committee for not Disqualifying Ga Central MCE

Tension is brewing at Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency as some scores of NPP executives in the area are enraged over the complete silence of the Parliamentary Vetting Committee.

After submitting a petition for the disqualification of the MCE for Ga Central Municipality Mr Emmanuel Lamptey from the parliamentary race,
the committee has until now failed to expedite action.

The said petition which was filed on February 2, 2020, and addressed to the Chairman of the Parliamentary Vetting Committee was also copied to the following top notches of the party: President of the Republic Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, Mr. Hackman Owusu Agyemang (The chairman of the National Council), National Chairman of the party, Mr. Freddy Blay, the General Secretary, Mr. John Boadu, Ex-President of Ghana, H.E John Agyekum Kuffour, The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party and the Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency chairman.

According to the concerned Polling Station Executives, rule (15) of the rules and regulations governing the conduct of Parliamentary primaries in constituencies where the party has sitting Member Parliament restricts persons holding the following positions from contesting to become parliamentary candidates: the National Chairman, the General Secretary, the National Treasurer, all Regional Chairpersons, Regional Secretaries, Regional Treasurers, Constituency Chairpersons, Constituency Secretaries, Constituency Treasurers, and MMDCEs.

Making reference to rule 15 of the rules and regulations, they stated as follows: “If the above-stated rules and regulations are valid, then our understanding is that, all MMDCEs in all constituencies which have sitting NPP Members of Parliament are estopped from contesting the impending parliamentary primaries including the MCE of Ga Central Municipal Assembly (Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency.), Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey.

They also upheld that there is no exception to rule 15, as it has been explicitly stated in clear and unambiguous terms whiles emphasizing that the above stated rules and regulations take their source from an earlier decision of the National Council that provided that, MMDCEs who wished to contest the Parliamentary Primary Election in constituencies where the party has sitting MPs must resign two years before the primaries.

The petition in question sought to axe the MCE of Ga Central Municipal Assembly (Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency.), Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey out of the parliamentary race since his qualification has already been ruled out by the National Council’s decision.

Though the MP for Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway has pulled out of the parliamentary race, but the concerned polling station executives argues that the constituency cannot assume the status of an orphan constituency based on the following reasons:

1. Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency still has a sitting member of Parliament since the term of office of the sitting Member of Parliament will expire on midnight of 6th January, 2021 when the current Parliament is dissolved.

2. The current MP’s decision not to contest the primaries cannot be equated to a resignation of post, since the MP will still continue to be in office until her term of office ends by statutory requirement.

3. The constituency did not take part in the Extra Ordinary Delegates Conference to elect Parliamentary Candidates when the orphan constituencies held theirs.

4. Aspirants are paying a filing fee of Fifty Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 52,000) and Twenty Seven Thousand Ghana Cedis(GHC 27,000) for men and women/youth aspirants respectively, which is exactly the same amount being paid by aspirants in non-orphan constituencies.

In effect, they concluded that Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency cannot be described as an ‘orphan’ constituency by any strength of imagination or interpretation of stated Party rules, if we are to put the reasons stated above into consideration.

They also stated that, “Dr Lamptey is not qualified to contest because he failed to resign two years ago, when he had the option of choosing between contesting the up-coming parliamentary primaries and maintaining his current position as MCE. He chose the latter, which is why he refused to resign as MCE. He cannot eat his cake and have it”.

“We see this action of Dr Lamptey as an attempt and indeed a flout of the rules that have been passed by the second highest decision-making body of the Party, The National Council, with impunity”, the reiterated.

Though they accepted the fact that in some instances the dynamics in a particular constituency such as ethnicity, religion etc. might make it necessary to bend the rules to favour a particular aspirant in the interest of the Party, but clarified that In Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, there has not been any clear justifiable reason why any such consideration should be made to favour anyone.

They reminded the party’s hierarchy by citing a similar case where the current MCE was considered over other Party Members including the Constituency Chairman who expressed interest for the position of MCE.

They therefore, threatened to resist any attempt to bend the rules with the intent to favour him and cautioned the party’s top hierarchy on the possibility of creating chaos in the Constituency if the do not uphold rule 15.

Speaking to the Secretary of the National Parliamentary Vetting Committee who also doubles as the Regional Secretary for Greater Accra, Mr Daniel Parker Odarlai France On behalf of politicsafrika.com, Owusu Baffoe Daniel can report that according to Mr. Daniel Parker, the National Council has revised the rules to allow MMDCEs from constituencies whose sitting MP are no more in the parliamentary race to contest.

However, speaking to Mr Joseph Achibald Adjei a strong party faithful in the constituency, who is also believed to be the one behind the orchestration to axe the MCE out of the race, he questioned about why such decisions by the party came at such a late hour, and posited that the MCE’s decision not to resign two years ahead of time alone tells you that he is only selfish and greedy. He accused the party’s second highest decision-making body for abusing their powers and bending rules to favour some aspirants based on favouritism and nepotistism.

Mr Archibald called on the party hierarchy to pay attention to the calls of the grassroot executives as failure to do so will undoubtedly affect the fortunes of the Party in the next general election”.

Sheila Bartels received a distress call to help a delegate who was to undergo an emergency C-section so to deliver her baby.

Sheila quickly mobilised money to both fully pay for the cost of the surgery, and shopped for the baby.

The delegate’s baby has been named after Sheila’s father.

Sheila is indeed a generous person who we will love as our MP.

As human as we are, it is normal to fall on hard times and may need a helping hand to get back on our feet or sort out a critical need.

This helping hand must be timely and should not rob us of our dignity and pride of place.

This helping hand is what the generous Sheila Bartels offers and we pray that God should empower her further through us the delegates so that she can do more.

Before the Covid-19 lockdown was lifted, several families were in distress and called on Sheila Bartels to help.

Sheila went round meeting them and gave additional support to those who urgently needed it.

Indeed Sheila is a leader that Ablekuma North is proud of.

We must all support the kind of leader who gives to others wholeheartedly.

Editorial: Ablekuma North Constituency, Know your Candidate; The Sheila Bartels factor

Sheila Bartels understands that, the healthcare of her constituents is very paramount that she fully paid for registration and renewing of NHIS for more than 250 people for free.

This clearly shows that the value of a person resides in what he or she gives and not in what he or she is capable of receiving.

Out of a generous heart, Sheila Bartels was able to Support financially all the Assembly members elected by the party in the just ended District Assembly Elections including those who were not even on her side.

This clearly shows that Sheila Bartels does not discriminate but rather, a correct Unifier.

Sheila Bartels is the only candidate who organised and gave out Christmas goodies to ALL delegates in Ablekuma North.

Sheila is not discriminating or divisive.

Out of a generous heart, Sheila Bartels provided a blood sugar monitor for a polling station executive who had been diagnosed with diabetes.

This particular delegate had been to the MP for assistance but she turned him away with the false accusation and insult that he was a drunkard.

Sheila’s assistance to him came with no strings attached.

Sheila Bartels has supported so many people who called on her to assist with their healthcare needs. She has paid for surgeries, births and various medical treatments. She is also committed to providing healthcare support to Polling station executives as part of her manifesto promises.

We will choose Sheila Bartels over any other candidate because she is truly generous.

We met a delegate who was almost dying because of diabetes.

His leg from the knee down was getting rotten.

Immediately, Sheila Bartels arranged for him to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

She has supported continuous treatment as well as medicine and family support while he recovers.
This man always prays for Sheila.

I will vote for the generous Sheila Bartels to continue to hold Ablekuma North together.

A non-delegate had been sick with swollen legs and unable to walk for over a month when she came across Sheila Bartels. Her husband who is retired, could not afford her healthcare.

Sheila arranged for her to get the necessary treatments until she was able to walk again. She is now able to walk and support herself.

This family is grateful to Sheila Bartels for intervening in her situation.

I will choose a candidate with a generous heart who will help us in need.

There is this party sympathiser – a widow who isnt a delegate. She fell on hard times and could not afford the school fees of her child.

When she approached our MP for assistance, she was turned away because she isn’t a delegate. Sheila heard of her plight and did not only give the woman double of what she needed to pay the fees, but also committed to assist the widow start a small scale business.

Such a generous leader with a clean spirit.

Choose Sheila Bartels for a United Ablekuma North.
Choose No 4.

This is why I will choose Sheila Bartels any day.

I will vote number 4 on the ballot.

Go for the best candidate.

I want a Generous Leader

I choose No.4

Editorial: 4 Reasons Sheila Bartels should be chosen for and by ABN constituency

Very soon, the New Patriotic Party will be going for a poll to elect candidates to represent the various constituencies across the country in the upcoming 2020 election and Ablekuma North is is no exception.

Sheila Bartels among others is vying for the seat at Ablekuma North Constituency.

This Editorial content has outlined a few reasons why she stands tall among all other candidates, and why she should be voted for by the constituency delegates to represent the constituency in Parliament.

1. Sheila is known to all and sundry. Veteran politicians of Ablekuma North NPP like Alhaji Mohammed, Mr Annor, Hon. Joyce Acheampong , Hon. Kofi Ofori, etc, have all attested to knowing and taking pride in the personal development of Sheila Bartels into the politician she is today.

2. Sheila has achieved a lot in the business space, and is rightly considered a leading name especially in the use of financial technology to drive financial inclusion. Politically, Sheila has rekindled the zeal for party activism in Ablekuma North. This is not a surprise since she formed the HOPE campaign in 2016 and led other youth activists to campaign vigorously for Nana Addo to have a sweeping victory nationwide.

3. Sheila has always said that she is not interested in ruling but rather service. Her principle is to do whatever it takes to ensure that ABN patriots are not left out in the sharing of the national cake and she has outlined all her plans to actualise this very clearly.

4. Sheila Bartels is a leader with foresight and we are looking forward to see her charismatic, competent and pragmatic leadership for the upcoming general election and beyond.

Sheila Bartels is on the Fourth (4th) position on the ballot, down at the bottom.

Mark Ofori blasts Fanteakwa NDC chairman over propaganda comment against MP

Re: Fighting COVID-19, Fanteakwa South MP should be fair to the People.

The NDC is taken advantage of the deadly global pandemic, COVID-19 that has almost stop every activities in the world. Fanteakwa South NDC is not exceptional.

The attention of Fanteakwa South NPP has been drawn to a mischievous press release which is been circulated in attempt to run down the steps of our Hon Member of Parliament, Mr Kofi Okyere Agyekum to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. The President has already taken proper measures to curb this global pandemic where Mr Kofi Okyere has also followed suit.

We wish state it categorically that Mark Okraku and his entire NDC members are opportunist and they usually take advantage of disadvantages and they have never contributed any meaningful option to the development of Fanteawa South.

We the Fanteakwa South NPP are telling the entire Fanteakwa South constituents to avoid the meaningless propaganda by The NDC chairman, Mark Okraku and his cronies.

In addition we have several questions to ask the NDC chairman Mark Okraku and his cronies and we need immediate answer to that;

Firstly, we want to ask the contributions the NDC has made in the Fanteakwa South constituency in fighting against the deadly global pandemic COVID-19?

If the Fanteakwa South NDC has contributed to the fight, We the Fanteakwa South NPP wants data and details of their contribution.

Signed
