Past students of Ofori Panin Senior High school in Kukurantumi in the Eastern region have donated items to their former school to fight the global pandemic, Covid 19. The items presented include hand sanitizers, nose masks, face shield, liguid soaps, Veronica buckets, tissue papers, dispensors and other learning materials.
Presenting the items on behalf of the group, The president, Mr. Appiah Yaw Lartey admonished the school authorities to use the items for the intended purpose and advised teachers and students to adhere to the protocols set out by the Ghana Health Service in the fight against Covid19.
He said the year’s group is committed to the school and have over the years undertook projects to help the school. This includes the renovation of the school pantry, supplied fans to each classroom among others.
Receiving the items on behalf the Board Chairman and the headmaster of the school, The Assistant headmaster in charge of Academics Mr. Armstrong Appiah expressed his gratitude for the gesture done and called on other year groups to emulate the exploits of the 2000 year group.
